God
We believe God to be the only true God, who exists eternally in three distinct Persons who enjoy equal divinity. These Persons are God the Father, Jesus the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and they are distinct, and one, known together as the Holy Trinity. God is the Creator and therefore Ruler over everything, and therefore He alone is worthy of all glory and honour.
Genesis 1:1,26 / Matthew 28:19

Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God, and also to be equal with God. He experienced a miraculous physical birth, being born of the virgin Mary. In this, He has two natures and is fully human and fully God. He was without sin and subsequently offered Himself as God’s acceptable sacrifice for the sins of mankind by being crucified on a cross at Calvary. In conquering death, Jesus was raised to life after being dead for three days. This displayed His authority over sin, death and the grave. He ascended to heaven to reign over His creation, and one day He will return to earth to rule as Lord Jesus, the King of Kings.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit to be equal with both God the Father and God the Son (Jesus). The Holy Spirit lives within the person who is redeemed by God through Jesus, entering their being at the moment of salvation, and is the seal of God’s ownership of the Christian believer and guarantee of the final glory that lies ahead. The Holy Spirit enables the believer to understand God’s Word, comforts the believer as necessary, enables the believer to serve God, and provides guidance for a lifestyle that brings glory to God.

The Bible
We believe the Bible to be God’s writing to mankind, where God reveals Himself, His being and character. The Bible consists of sixty-six books in total covering the Old and New Testaments. We believe Scripture to be without error having been penned by a variety of human authors who were supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit. We also believe the Bible to be complete, God’s closed revelation, sufficient and the most important written authority to humanity.

Humanity
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that he lived in a beautiful garden known as Eden, where he was to bring glory to God. Sadly, man chose to rebel against God, believing and accepting the deception of Satan, causing Adam and Eve to embrace sin and therefore bringing alienation from God to all mankind. We believe that every person from that time on is troubled by a sin nature and condemned as we are judged by a Holy God. This can only be corrected through our being forgiven by Christ alone, who was God’s acceptable sacrifice for man’s sin.

The Church
In salvation we are individually brought into the collective body known as God’s family, the Church. Through salvation in Jesus, we become part of the universal Church made up of all who are redeemed by Christ. As the church, we are the Bride of Christ and Christ is the Head of the Church. This body known of believers meet regularly in local Church gatherings around the world to hear teaching from God’s Word, the Bible, and to practice the sacraments.

The Gospel
God’s plan to redeem sinful man into a right relationship with Himself has always been through the sacrificial death of His only Son, Jesus Christ. We read throughout the Old Testament the many exploits of God to save His chosen people from their sins. Then, in the New Testament we see God bringing about the salvation of His people, the Church through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Our message is the Gospel which is this: “All who believe that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead will be saved.” We believe the Gospel message to be God’s supernatural power bringing salvation to man. The salvation offered by God through Christ is both complete and eternal. Because of this all who are saved will spend eternity with God having had their sins addressed by Jesus. This salvation is a gift of God and cannot be achieved through our good works.

The Sacraments
Baptism & Holy Communion
We believe Jesus has given to His Church these two God-ordained sacraments to be observed on a regular basis. On the individual’s repentance of their sin and placing their faith in Christ for salvation, the Bible teaches us to be baptized using water being symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Baptism serves as an outward expression of the individual having been forgiven of their sin and now belonging to Christ. Holy Communion is the remembering that it is Christ alone who can forgive us our sin. The bread and juice are representative of Jesus giving His body and blood to redeem us from our sinful position before a Holy God. These sacraments should be practiced only by those who know Christ to be their Lord and Saviour.

The End is the Beginning
All things restored.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ will return bodily to this earth. He will set up His kingdom, and His return is imminent. At His return He will destroy Satan, death, sin, sickness. At this time all who have rejected Christ as Lord will be forever separated from God in Hell. Those who have truly followed Jesus by accepting His eternal gift of forgiveness of their sin will enter into their heavenly home in Heaven. Jesus will bring into being the New Heaven and New Earth where we will live at peace with God and one another forever.
